The 50'S

In 1949, FERMAX embarked upon what was to be its business trajectory with the launch in the Spanish market of the first ever radio intercommunicator for industrial and professional use:the radio interphone
It was patented in 1950.On 16th January 1952, the FERMAX brand name was registered, a conjunction of the Company founder’s name and surname.
The 60'S

In 1963, the company launched the Fonoporta, an electronic intercom system for buildings, considered the first electronic entry system from Fermax, which was to pave the way to the Company’s future.The apparatus swept the market.It was the first entry system designed in Spain and for many years, the only one.
The 70'S

In 1974, Ramón Benedito designed his first product for Fermax:the T-1 wall Telephone.
By 1987, when it was replaced, 4,5000,000 telephones had been manufactured.
In 1999, it was exhibited in the Reina Sofia Museum as a milestone of 70s Spanish design.
The 80'S

In the eighties, the Fermax video entry system was created, the first ever Spanish video entry system, providing a strong dose of security for homes.
The 90'S

In 1991, Fermax launched a manufacturing series of outdoor panels for electronic and video entry systems: CITYLINE Its creator, Ramón Benedito, revolutionized the market with Cityline, designing the first electronic entry panel on the market to use a convex-curved aluminum profile. All the sales expectations were covered in its launch. That same year, it was awarded the Valencia Prize for Industrial Design Innovation. Today, 1,500,000 buildings have an electronic entry and Cityline video entry panel from Fermax.
The 21st Century

21st century video entry systems control access to the building by means of identifying magnetic cards.

In 2004, the company brought out its new monitor, at the cutting edge of technology, security and design:LOFT.
The harmony of the gentle, relaxed shapes and the integrated volume concept are the synthesis of Loft technology and design.

In 2005, Fermax presented the new colour video entry panel:HALO.
In Halo, the company and its creator Ramón Benedito have invested all their technological experience, design and innovation culture and future vision.

In 2006, a new digital video entry system came into being, with its features, security and design by Ramón Benedito, as the new addition to the Loft family:The LOFT COMPACT monitor.

In May 2007, at the Construmat Fair in Barcelona, the company presented the new Loft from Fermax for the digital home:iLOFT.
It is light, transparent, subtle.The most innovative video entry system, the best proposal for the new digital home, designed by Ramón Benedito.
